Another New Song: The Drivetrain Turns

Last week, I posted my first effort at recording my own music here in the Cave.  Here is the lates effort.  Since a lot of people asked about the lyrics of the last song, I figured I'd go ahead and copy this song's lyrics so no one has to wonder.  Don't worry if my singing makes you cringe.  It makes me cringe too :)

the drivetrain has started turning again

but i don’t know where it’s taking me 

as it rolls along the way

it spins and spins and i go around in its wake

helpless and trying to find my way

in a world I don’t know anymore

the road unwinds and the drivetrain turns

and i’m wrenched and wound up tight 

the days slip by, and the night is brief
